I went in like any other new comer, abit confused, abit sure, missed gate once and a certain newness that words miss to capture. A part of village beliefs was still clinging on me and so I was geared to flow against the current. I went in ready to preach the gospel to anyone who came my way and nothing more. Infact I did exactly that, Wish you read my principles, rules and guidelines, you would most probably vote me for an award. Worst of all I felt wise, of which I think I was but not to flow through alone. I thank God for my mother and dad who taught me to always give an ear to advices, not forgetting my adorable primary school teachers.
Todate I look back and am yet to imagine the treasure, laughter and mentorship I would have missed if these awesome friends were not born.
I remember the many times Mwenda called me for campus advice and how God used him to influence my life. I always wondered whether he had someone who whispered to him exactly what I was going through any time he called me for a word. May God bless him, the part of my life in campus was the work of God through him.
How can I forget the many times I held my ribs atleast to make sure they are still intact after laughter, laughter and laughter at his joke….Happy for you papa…If the phrase of many is true then you made me add some days to live.
Jane may God bless you forever. Staying under your authority for one semester was a life changing and memorable history of my life. Am sorry to note here that you are my agemate but the authority you have over me speaks volumes. I adore the times you took me to watch and pray at AHNE at awesome hours of the night…really avoiding to call them weird hours. I remember one day in particular when there was a rumor of strike in the school and we had to go and wait on God on the same. It was always hard for my fresh but you taught me the power of prayer and role of an intercessor.
I admire your quite spirit, wisdom and grace of God that operates in your life. You always challenged me to seek God more and also work on my academics. Your kind warm heart and generosity will never leave my memory and practices.
I was very happy seeing you tie the long life knot as a husband and wife. Congratulations a thousands times. We talked about it in faith and am happy to witness the faithfull of God in your lifes.Glory to God.
