This is flowing from my heart. A letter to my beloved
Dear brethren,
The grace and love of God that abides forever be with you. Receive my greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus who became a ransom for us all. That before we were not a people but now we are a chosen generation, a holy nation and a royal priesthood. I thank God that have always heard your testimony that you are still holding on to the true doctrine and the adorable practices in the Christian union.
In few months time, an year will be over since you bade us farewell which is still very fresh and memorable. Not because you wanted us away but our time was over and more assignments were awaiting us out here. Be sure I once in a while miss you but am comforted to know you are pressing on in the good faith of our Lord Jesus.
Out here, as most of us would put it is good, so fear not when you time come. In the very few months since I departed from your physical fellowship have still found Jesus as the only answer in life and his grace taking me through all that has come my way. So again fear not when your time come.
I wrote this letter to encourage you to continue in the sound doctrine that you found in the Christian union, which was founded by the chosen of God paying the cost before us, based on the word of God. So I beseech you not to depart from the ways of truth. I would also wish to remind you to continue fervently in prayer for the church, serving and worshipping God in your strength and material things. Don’t forget your very important personal relationship with God, always desire to get deeper in his word, prayer, wisdom and understanding. All these putting in remembrance the great inheritance that in awaiting us when we will be absent in body.
I know some of us tend to feel like they are born again more than others just because of different gifts bestowed upon us. But when this comes your way please remember to uphold love and humility and above all let the fruit of the Holy spirit be evident in your life. When challenges come your way remember nothing is impossible with God and his love and mercies endures forever. Incase you have to rebuke a brother/sister do it in love.
Finally brethren remember to respect authority. For us who went out professing the good faith I beseech us to press on to the end and desire to get deeper in Him. Always not looking forward for man’s approval but seeking to please God our father.
I have alot of memories that I can share with you but since am looking forward to meeting some of you before the end of this month God willing, we will share more. Incase we don’t meet here on earth to strengthen each other in the journey of faith, I pray that the Lord will keep us unto that perfect day. And now may the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forever. AMEN.
